VN30 is an index of the 30 largest and most liquid stocks on HOSE — the equivalent of S&P 500 for Vietnam. Used as the underlying for VN30F1M futures — Vietnam's only derivative product.

VN30 represents ~65% of total HOSE market cap and ~70% of trading volume. VN30 behavior leads VN-Index. Major ETFs (VFMVN30, E1VFVN30) track this basket.

Selection Criteria

Top 30 by market cap + free-float ≥ 5% + top 30 by liquidity + not in warning/control status. Reviewed twice yearly (Jan + Jul).
